Gain a greater experience and understanding of Ignatian
Spirituality on this 3 month course. The 1st and 3rd unit
can be taken seperately. This is an ideal course for those
who wish to experience the full Spiritual Exercises of
St Ignatius Loyola. There will be an interesting and enjoyable
pilgrimage to Spain and Italy, then the last part of the
course you will be invited by leading scholars to study
the Exercises. However, there will be the opportunity
for a practical improving of the skills of retreat giving
and spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition.
This programme will be particularly suited
to those who wish to help others in discernment, vocational
choices, prayer guidance and retreat giving.
From 2008 the Autumn course
will be broken down into three units:
- SPIRITUAL
EXERCISES INSTITUTE: will comprise
of the Full Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius and an extended
reflection and consideration of the dynamic of the four weeks
of the Exercises. This new unit we are calling the Spiritual
Exercises Institute.

PILGRIMAGE
TO SPAIN & ITALY: This
will be a fascinating journey with Ignatius. We shall
travel to Spain and Italy following in the footsteps
of Ignatius.

SPIRITUAL
EXERCISES COURSE: of
the programme will involve a detailed study of the
Spiritual Exercises and look at discernment and spiritual
direction in the Ignatian tradition.
