Accommodation is in comfortable single bedrooms.
St. Beuno's is a warm and well-appointed house.
Towels, soap and bedding are all provided.
There is a lift from the Ground Floor levels up to Chapel
Gallery in the main house.
All public rooms can be reached without climbing stairs.
There are three rooms with en-suite facilities.
Additional Cottage Accommodation
We have a group of three cottages within our grounds and near to the main
house. These quiet and comfortable cottages have been
popular in recent years. Each cottage has two or three
bedrooms as well as a sitting room, kitchen and a good bathroom.
Currently this group of cottages sleeps 8 and is particularly
suited to groups who want to organise their own retreats.
Also we have further accommodation in Fronshade,
a cottage ten minutes walk through the grounds of the main house.
This four bed-roomed cottage has been well used and much appreciated
being very comfortable and quiet: with one of the best views
across the Clwyd Valley to the Snowdonia Mountains in our whole
centre. A member of St. Beuno's team is resident in Fronshade.
We have three more bedrooms in Rhewl cottage, less than
5 minutes from the main house. It has magnificent views across
the Clwyd Valley with a fine view of Snowdonia from the Breakfast
table.
Breakfast, lunch and supper are taken in the
dining room of the main house but in addition a simple breakfast
or snacks etc. are available in all the cottages. Retreatants
have full use of all the facilities of the main house (chapels,
dining room, library, and lounge) and of the gardens and grounds.
We would advise Main House accommodation for
those who find a short climb or stairs difficult. The
cottages do not have ground floor sleeping accommodation.
