A time of quiet prayer with a daily orientation
on the theme of Advent and Christmas which will provide suggestions
for prayer and reflection. We shall attempt to be flexible so
that retreatants can spend their time as they seem fit - we
expect that many will just want a breather before Christmas
to focus on the true meaning of the season, while others might
well want some help in working out what the Christian belief
in the Incarnation - the birth of Jesus of Nazareth - might
mean.
The art room is available for those who feel drawn to express
themselves creatively.
There will be a daily Eucharist and the opportunity
for the sacrament of reconciliation.
The retreat is not individually guided, though
there will be a chance for those who wish, to meet individually
with a member of the St Beuno's team giving the retreat.
