Fr Peter McVerry is well known in Ireland for his willingness
to speak out on radio, television and in the newspapers about
social justice issues. He runs homes for young people.
In this seminar he will focus on issues of Social Justice and
how they link with Christian Spirituality.
Participants at this seminar will join with those attending
the 3 month Programme on Apostolic Spirituality.

Anyone who has been involved in Spiritual Direction or retreat
giving will have come across many people for whom tensions exist
between their sexuality, sexual desires and behaviour and their
spirituality and faith.
On this seminar we will consider areas such as holiness and
wholeness, relationships, homosexuality, celibacy.
Fr Callaghan is a clinical psychologist who currently lectures
at Heythrop College, University of London. He was formerly Principal
of the College.
Participants of this seminar unite with those attending the
10 week Programme. |
| Participants are expected for the
evening meal on the 6th April. The Seminar itself begins on
9.30am on the morning of the 7th.
The seminar ends at 6pm on 9th April. Participants may stay
until breakfast on the 10th. |
