GERARD MANLEY HOPKINS - Afternoon Lecture

A presentation on Hopkins given by Lance Pierson. 

Although offically called a 'lecture', Lance specialises in lively presenations.  He will bring the poetry of Hopkins to life.  He will take a look at how we read the poetry of Hopkins.

Recently he has been touring with "The Bible in 60 Minutes" - a funny and moving anthology of Bible readings in different styles covering the pages from Genesis to Revelation! He is currently working with a soprano celebrating the King James Version of the Bible in words and song.

The Annual Hopkins Lecture can be taken as part of the Hopkins Retreat running from 18 - 23rd July, 2012
