Visit sites which have been associated with the sacred for centuries.

St Beuno's Cave

 

The area of North Wales in which
St Beuno's is situated is marvelously endowed with a great variety of ancient Sacred Places.

St Asaph Cathedral

 

Each day we shall walk to a local sacred space:
a
Holy Well, Pool, Church, Stone Circle, Cathedral or Cave

Holywell

We shall visit

Celtic Stone Circle Penmaenmawr

Medieval St Winefried's Well Holywell

Llanrhaeder with its celebrated pre-reformation Jesse Window and pools

St Asaph Cathedral - St Beuno's Cave

Rood Cross of Tremeirchion

We shall walk to each place, consider the site and its history and then have an hour free to pray, look, wander and absorb the atmosphere.

Participants need to be fit enough to manage a little hill-walking.

Suggested Offering £500 which includes transport to or from more distant sites some days.
