This is a standard Individually Guided, silent retreat in the Ignatian style.
We are offering these two retreats at a reduced price for Student and young people 18-30:

For this retreat we ask for £25 deposit and then whatever offering you can afford on top of this. If you can't afford any more, then OK, that will be sufficient. The idea is that those who need a retreat but who can't afford our usual rates will be able to come along. All guidance and full board is included.
This special rate only applies to these two retreats.

Gardening Retreats

If you feel the need to get away and do a retreat, but find the finances difficult, there is an opportunity to come and work in the garden. If you are willing to do five hours a day, then bed and board and retreat guidance would be nearly free. Obviously this is only available to those who are fit enough to do basic manual gardening work, and who don't mind getting their hands dirty and working with shovel and clippers. We do ask for a deposit of £25 to encourage committment.

If you can't manage five hours, or would find this too disruptive of a retreat, then you could offer fewer hours. In this case we would hope for an increase in the offering pro rata.

Gardening itself is a great way to clear the mind of studies and worries and often can be a help to the retreat.

There are only limited places available, but if you are interested, then contact the Director:

with possible dates and a few details about yourself and why you would like a retreat. This offer available for a maximum of an 8 day retreat. It iis not suited to doing the full Spiritual Exercises as this retreat is too demanding in time for prayer and reflection.
