This retreat is for people in their 20s and 30s who want to take time out from the busyness of life to rest, recharge and reflect on their life. There will be both quiet space for individual reflection and space for meeting, relaxing and praying with others, in the company of God, in an area of great peace and beauty.
For those who wish, there will be the chance to meet each day with a retreat guide or ‘spiritual director’ who will help you to focus and discern. This is a silent retreat with periods in the day set aside for talking and meeting others in small groups to engage in deeper conversations.
The retreats at St Beuno’s are based on the Spiritual Exercises and the Ignatian spiritual tradition. The beautiful, rural setting of St Beuno’s provides a still and sacred place in nature that is conducive to prayer. There is celebration of the Eucharist and half-an-hour of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for communal silent prayer available each day.
The retreat begins on the Friday at 6.30pm (bedrooms are available from4pm). Please try to arrive between 4pm and 5pm to have time to settle in. The retreat finishes after breakfast on the Monday.
