This weekend will explore the human condition through your own life story, in the context of the Gospel story and the Christian spiritual life, using mindfulness skills and contemplative Christian prayer.

Steve Noone is a recently retired clinical psychologist who has used mindfulness skills extensively in his practice and teaching.
Liz Lord is currently a tutor on the MSt in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at the University of Oxford. Since 2015 she has been a senior researcher in the Dept of Psychiatry, working on the MYRIAD project which has been investigating all aspects of mindfulness in education. She works freelance as part of the teaching, training and supervision team at the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (OMF). She was formally an assistant head teacher and worked in education, at all levels for over 20 years and before that, a management accountant working for AstraZeneca.
Fr Roger Dawson SJ is a Jesuit priest, previous director of St Beuno's and trained as a clinical psychologist.
This retreat ends after lunch on the Monday, however we will be requesting that you vacate your room after breakfast to enable us prepare the rooms for those arriving later that day.
