Synodality and its impact on our lives has been coming more and more to the fore in the last couple of years. This workshop will look at some of the theory and practice of discerning together in groups. We will draw on the rich Ignatian tradition and the experiences of personal discernment to explore how we can listen to the Holy Spirit in a communal setting.
The workshop will assume a certain familiarity with Ignatian Spirituality but will also offer some input on Ignatian discernment. We think the workshop will be useful for individuals and groups who wish to consider an approach to communal decision-making based in their Christian faith – ministry teams, Christian communities, faith based work places.
